We stayed here one night en route from Montreal to Maine. It's much bigger than I expected and seems recently updated and very clean. Staff was friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to find a little sitting area with sofa in our room, loved the extra space. There's a nice pool area, fitness center and an arcade all on the lower level. Complimentary breakfast with plenty of choices, replenished often. Several restaurants in St. Johnsbury just a few blocks away for lunch and dinner.

After staying one night on our way to Quebec, we left feeling very lucky that we managed to find this hotel online. Everything about our stay was great. The front desk staff was very helpful with dinner and activity recommendations for the surrounding area. The pool was warm and large enough to accommodate quite a few groups of people, while the hot tub, sauna, fitness room, and game room were nice add ons. The free breakfast in the morning was well above the usual Comfort Inn standards, with special items such as oatmeal, fresh fruit, and yogurt, along with the typical eggs, sausage, bagels and english muffins, multiple varieties of coffee, and cereal. The lobby and breakfast area were big enough to accommodate plenty of people in the morning. The room was perfect, the pull out sofa in our room (a rare find in modern hotel rooms) was great as we have five people in our family. The mini fridge and microwave also came in very handy. The hotel looked modern throughout, which was exactly what we were looking for. I would not recommend the area as a place to stay for multiple days in the summer (I am sure it is much better in the winter with skiing at nearby Burke Mountain), but for our family it was a great place to stay for one night on our way to Canada. Overall, an amazing hotel.

After driving many miles from New Brunswick, Canada, and needing a good night's sleep, I was delighted to find this gem. Located just outside the quaint and lovely burg of Saint Johnsbury, VT and just off of Interstate 91, it was a welcome sight. It looked new but I was told it was ten years old. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was quiet and the bed comfortable. The "deluxe continental breakfast" was the best I have seen at any Comfort Inn. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation and I look forward to visiting the area again.

We happened upon this place coming down from Montreal via Michigan on our way to Lake George, N.Y. for Americade (bike week).

Beautiful location. Very comfortable and clean which was a super plus after hours on a motorcycle. Staff very pleasant and accommodating.

This is like the only fully functioning hotel in the Lyndonville VT area.
We went to visit Lyndon State College, and we like a hotel that 'is' a hotel.
This place was more than we were expecting.

Close to the highway, after a 3 hr drive from the Boston area, and after a Friday night drive when you're a little frazzled, its nice to lay your head down onto a nice fluffy pillow.

This was my third stay at this Comfort Inn since October 2010. I'm building a home in the area, and each time I travel from Connecticut to Vermont, I will stay only at this establishment. The location is extremely convenient - directly off I-91. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and offer great amenities such as a fridge and microwave. The staff is always extremely courteous and helpful with everything, including restaurant recommendations and driving directions. I have had only positive experiences staying at this Comfort Inn and will continue to do so.

"Who trains the staff at this hotel? Disney World could learn a lesson or two from them. This Comfort Inn was the nicest and cleanest hotel that we've ever stayed in."

"Each year my daughter creates a calendar to count down the days until our first ski weekend at your hotel. My entire family loves the hotel, pool, arcade, breakfast and the incredible skiing at Burke. Please thank the staff for another incredible ski season."

"My family and I have been riding our snowmobiles out of your hotel for the past three years. Every year the staff remembers us and takes time to make us feel “special”. We really appreciate the little extras that make the Comfort Inn so family friendly. The whirlpool is to die for after a day on the trails. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..."
