Visit Dog Chapel at Dog Mountain and Stephen Huneck's Art Gallery

A Vermont canine cultural treasure, this unique attraction is fun for the whole family, and is a paradise for dog lovers.  An intimate dog retreat where owners can bring their dogs to roam leash free across 150 beautiful acres set on a private Vermont mountaintop.  Dog friendly ponds and hiking trails are available.  In the winter, dogs and their families love to snow shoe on the trail system.  Consider visiting Dog Mountain during one of their many "Dog Parties".  Dog Mountain is free and open 24 hours a day for dogs and their families to explore, enjoy and "have a ball".

This one of a kind dog chapel and memorial opened its doors in the summer of 2000.  The walls of the chapel are adorned in messages of love and thoughtful remembrance.  Images of "man's best friend" along with heartfelt memories hide the chapel's walls.  It is a true testament to the loving bond that is formed between a dog and his or her family.

An onsite art gallery features fun, dog-themed art for sale from renowned artist Stephen Huneck.  Stephen's collection of art and collectables includes original wood cuts, fine art, lithographs, prints, posters, sculpture, lamps, furniture, mirrors, prayer flags, clothing, key chains, magnets, pins, mugs, rugs, tote bags, ornaments, books, jewelry, and dog toys.
