Vermont Fish & Game

Vermont offers a bounty of big and small game hunting throughout the Northeast Kingdom that is open seasonally and available to hunters with official licenses. Vermont's largest trophy moose, white tail deer, black bear and wild turkeys are found in the woods of the Northeast Kingdom.  Hunters from around New England know that northern Vermont and New Hampshire offer world class hunting experiences.

Fishing in Vermont is also a long cherished pastime that is open on the states beautiful lakes and rivers with approved licenses.  Anglers love the spring fed waters of Vermont lakes and the crystal clear rivers.  Families love the experience of casting a line and hooking up with the wide variety of Vermont fish.  Whether fishing from shore or on a boat, Vermont waterways offer amazing time to experience the outdoors and reconnect with Mother Nature. Some of the largest fish in the history of Vermont have been caught in the Northeast Kingdom and can be viewed on the Vermont Fish & Wildlife website.
