Cold Hollow Cider Mill

While visiting Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, consider a day trip to Cold Hollow Cider (a great way to spend the afternoon after visiting Cabot Cheese Factory and on your way to Ben & Jerry's). You cannot go wrong when you plan a day long Vermont culinary excursion. It is a great way to taste your way through northern Vermont.
Cold Hollow is a working Vermont cider mill, gift shop, bakery and luncheonette. This historic cider press was built in the 1920s and is still in operation. It is capable of producing 500 gallons of cider per hour. Cold Hollow's famous apple cider and apple cider donuts are worth the drive. The apple cider donuts were ranked by Gourmet Magazine as one of the top four donuts nationwide! In addition to cider and donuts, Cold Hollow is a great Vermont shopping experience. The shelves are stocked with Vermont specialty products.
Bees are our friends in Vermont and no where are they more appreciated than at Cold Hollow Cider. Bees are needed to pollinate the apple trees and they happen to make an amazing Vermont honey. Be sure to pace yourself at Cabot Cheese Factory…Cold Hollow's "Luncheonette" offers a wonderful Vermont dining experience. Everything is fresh, organic and whenever possible is grown, harvested or made locally.
